Dear Parents and Guardians,
We want to let you know that the school has a team of people who help students learn and feel safe at school. A speech-language pathologist (SLP) is one member of the team.
The SLP helps teachers and other educators learn ways to support students’ communication and understanding. These strategies help all students.
If you hear that the SLP has been in your child’s classroom, it does not mean your child has a speech problem or is getting tested. The SLP is there to help the whole class. If your child ever needs one-on-one help, we will always ask for your permission first.
If you have any questions, please reach out to the school.
Sincerely,
Mountain View School Staff
