We are especially proud to recognize our school community’s incredible contributions during our recent collection campaign for Fill the Bus. This year, you raised an amazing $4,107.88 in food and monetary donations! To put this into perspective, last year’s total was $2,088.14—meaning you more than doubled your impact. This remarkable increase highlights the kindness, teamwork, and dedication that make Mountain View School such a special place. Every item collected and every dollar raised helps support individuals and families who need it most. Thank you for making a real difference.
School Compassion Project – NB Heart & Stroke Foundation
Our ongoing compassion project for the Spring is in support of the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation and continues until next Friday. So far, our community has raised $2,735.00, and we are excited to see how much we can accomplish together! Thank you to everyone who has participated so far, the students are really enjoying the class competition and knowing the jump rope activity is coming up next week.

4. Winter Carnival – Starts Next Week!
We’re excited to kick off our annual Winter Carnival next week. Each day will bring a fun theme and winter activity for students. Please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for outdoor activities—extra socks and pants are always a good idea!
Winter Carnival Schedule
February 23 – Crazy Hair / Hat Day
• Come with your most creative hairstyle or favourite hat.
February 24 – School Pride Day (Blue & Yellow)
• Wear Mountain View colours
• Class sledding (please dress warmly and bring extra socks/pants)
February 25 – Pink Shirt Day
• Wear your Pink Shirt in support of Bullying Awareness Day
• Class Snowshoeing (dress for outdoors, plus extra socks/pants)
• Maple Syrup on the Snow
February 26 – Pajama Day
• Students can wear their comfiest PJs
• Whole-school fruit skewer snack
February 27 – Twin Day
• Dress alike with a friend or group
• Multi-Age Morning Event
